A special ambience

Our guests have access to a spacious communal area consisting of a library, a lounge with a grand piano and a fireplace, as well as a dining room. Furniture from the region and antiques add to the charm of the house.

Each of the 19 rooms is unique and furnished with attention to detail. There are no televisions or telephones in the bedrooms to distract guests from relaxing and enjoying the extensive views. Only in the library is there a guest TV. However, Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

We provide all the benefits of a hotel. At the same time, we want everything to be as easy as when staying with friends. For example, you can always serve yourself from the guest refrigerator and spend time in the lounge or on the terrace.

Fine, local and seasonal cuisine

We attach great importance to providing healthy, light and lovingly prepared meals. Wherever possible, we use products from the region and also cook original Engadin recipes. There is a choice of two menus daily, one of which is always vegetarian. For allergy sufferers, we will of course adapt the menu accordingly.

The Swiss muesli producer bio-familia AG supports the Hotel Chesa Spuondas with fine familia muesli and thus helps to keep the costs for our guests low.

The restaurant is reserved for our guests and is not open to the public. Our guests’ friends may, of course, join us for the evening.

Dining together or alone

Depending on the occupancy, you will eat together with other guests according to the «table-d’hôte-principle». That means sitting together, having a chat and getting to know each other.

Of course, there are also guests who do not want to do this. In this case, we will also do our utmost to fulfil your wishes with regard to the table arrangements. Please let us know if you feel the need for quiet or would like to sit together alone. We will be happy to provide some privacy.

We are passionate hosts and want you to enjoy every aspect of your stay with us. Our Spuondas team consists of ten people. We look forward to meeting you and will do everything in our power to make you feel completely at home.
